Amanda was brilliant, very approachable and answered any questions I had. The group size of 5 was great, as it was like having 1-1 tuition. I liked the way that we were asked for our objectives for the event and then returned to these at the end to see if we felt we had achieved them?.it was a yes for me! Thankyou for a very enjoyable and informative event.

This is the first time I have done anything like this and I did not know what to expect. Technically I know my way around a camera but I often lack insights into composition. Amanda was great and got us all thinking differently and set some engaging challenges which resulted in some really good photographs. I will be definitely booking another course when I can find the time.

This what is the first event that I'd been on it was not quite as expected as I thought they would've been more technical advice I was also a little surprised by the number of people. Amanda was a great host even though she had quite a lot of people to divide her time amongst. I'm glad I didn't write a review at the time because it's turned out that since the event on Street photography I've gained the confidence to actually walk up to people and ask if I can take that photo and this has had some really positive results..

Had a lovely time with Amanda. I think the way that she structures the event around tasks that get one to look at the world differently are interesting. The session is not really a technical how to, which is what I was expecting when I booked, but more of what to do.

A soft layer of mist settled gently over the medieval city, transforming its familiar outlines into something dreamlike and new. In that quiet moment, the city felt alive in a different way - mysterious, timeless, and almost otherworldly, as if inviting you to step into something beyond the ordinary.

I took this photo back in December in 2024, it was a Saturday and was raining pretty well most of the day. I was frustrated, and eager to shoot something. I just practiced with my Fuji XF 60mm lens, it's a macro at 1:2, and it just caught the atmosphere of outside, but in my bathroom window.

This image is a Still Life Composition of "Berries, Wine and Grapes" that I created on a rainy day in my bedroom. I used no fancy Studio Lighting at all. My only light source was a hand-held flashlight that I kept moving rapidly. It was an experiment in Light Painting when I couldn't go outside to shoot.
